home contents changes options help

By using the common Linux wget utility it's possible to make a static backup copy of the Wiki dynamic web pages. Our intention is to place these on a back-up server (sometimes our Wiki goes down) and also to backup in CVS the state of the Wiki docs periodically.

Juhana Sadeharju responded to my request for help capturing the Wiki using wget. Here's his syntax:

wget -p -E -k --proxy=off -e robots=off --passive-ftp -o zlog -r -l 0 -np -U Mozilla http://cinepaint.bigasterisk.com/

The top entry point for the captured web pages is:

cinepaint.bigasterisk.com/FrontPage/index.html

We still need to figure out how to use sed or awk to scrape off the Wiki buttons.
