CinePaint version 0.21-1 is a major release of the popular motion picture deep colour paint and retouching program.

This release is the latest Film Gimp (GTK) version of CinePaint. CinePaint developers continue to maintain this legacy architecture until the future Glasgow architecture is complete (in 2006). For info on Glasgow:

 TVWERK GmbH in Munich/Germany sponsored one man a week for programming in CinePaint. Target was the flipbook to minimise crashes and improve behaviour. The clone tool position can now be modified by arrow keys. Many shortcuts where added for navigating frames and onionskining.

Colour Handling

 * To mention is a major speed up for handling out of gamut marked images,

 * new prooving options and a

 * useful default settings are provided during installation. You need the Oyranos profile collection to be installed to take advantage of.
